Thanks for the reply. I looked at my add-ons but I didn't have any that looked dodgy. They all seemed to be signed by Microsoft. Any other suggestions?

Hi, My son has a Dell and has a problem with the cursor in IE. Basically, the cursor is a black block rather than the line. It's a right pain in the arse because you can't actually work out where the cursor is unless it is at the beginning or the end of the address! Can anybody tell me how I can change the cursor shape in IE. He only seems to have the problem in that app. In word/excel etc. it is ok. Cheers,
