What is the correct way to remove a windows update ons everal xp machines. I would like to write a script and then disable the update at my wsus server. I did find several information about it bot not the right page. Do you have the commanline parameter .... ei "uninstall /y + /m hotfixnumber" Command-line switch Description /f Force other programs to quit at shutdown /l List installed software updates /m Unattended mode /n Do not back up files for uninstallation /q Quiet mode - no user interaction required /y Perform uninstallation (must be used with /m or /q) /z Do not restart the computer after the installation Cheers Claus

If you right click "this computer" -> click properties -> General. Here we have an ICON, and where is the icon to change to get your own icon and some text for future unattend installations. Forgot it, so hopefully some will give me the link. I believe it is here somewhere but I could not see it Cheers Claus
