Hi there. First time user so sorry if this thread is in the wrong place. I run WMP10 with K-Lite codecs installed. Have tried installing WMP11 but still the same issue. The camera is a AIPTEK DV3300. The problem is specific to avi files taken from this camera. My problem is that avi files run once in WMP but trying to run another avi file either by opening straight away or closing WMP and trying again and it doesn't output video. If i then log off/log on or restart then again the first avi file i try to run is ok but any subsequent ones give no video output. Have tried downloading a load of different codec packs but still no joy. And seeing as it will run once then the codec must be there? Also i've played around with some video converter programs and if i run these and convert them back to avi using any of the compression methods then WMP plays the avi files fine. If it was a problem that was mine i'd just use a different player (quick time works ok) or just recompress the captured videos everytime but its for users that would have problems with a video converter and also want to use the default player - WMP. Bit of a wierd one i know so any help greatly appreciated.
