  1. Hi, I have just tried my first, Nlite-less, unattended install solely using a Winnt.Sif file inside my I386 folder. The results were at the same time very promising and also unsuccessful and annoying at the same time. Mainly because I received an error during the process, and then once the process has been complete and windows was installed, it had resulted in the sole (non named) admin account without creating my normal named admin account. Here is the info I used. Can anyone suggest what I left out or where I went wrong?. Also can I ask two other questions about this process, what info can I add to correctly set for the time to be UK Greenwich mean time, and set my Local to UK and also remove the standard US keyboard and replace it with UK (I don't want both US and UK there in the list, I wish to remove the default US and add the UK Keyboard). Finally, as I need to have a driver installed to allow windows to recognize my Motherboards Ethernet port. Is there anyway I can add this driver and something to my Winnt.sif file to install this driver alongside windows? (obviously I can do this with Nlite, but I am curious about learning if its possible with this method too). Thanks Anthony
  2. Hi, Thanks for this help, But I have now just realized another problem. But on my systems 4 (large) SATA Hard drives I have created 19 Partitions, for Dual Boots, storage folders and such. But my folder for wanting my system files in is located in the second partition on the second hard drive of the four. However when I reformat all my hard drive letters become garbled up from what I like them to be. So my question is how can I either force during the installation procedure to keep this one particular partition as drive letter "D". Or conversely let the winnt.sif file somehow locate and put the Documents and Settings folder into the second partition of the second hard drive without needing to rely on windows drive letters. As in is there a way to set the removal by using a different naming location command than needing to use windows internal drive letter locations. Thanks Anthony
  3. Hi, I was hoping someone could give me some pointers on how to achieve this. Firstly I am not somebody who undergoes unattended installations, I have used Nlite to tweak my Installation CD but I have not done any switches on the installation procedure yet. But my main goal is that I would like to have perminately on a separate hard drive my Windows documents and settings folder and have it remain there everytime I reinstall windows. From Googling I have saw this switch However it mentions I need to have this on a floppy inside my PC during windows installation to use this, I however don't have a floppy on my machine. Which application would therefore be best to let me alter my windows installation CD to include this switch and implement it automatically during a windows instal off the CD. And secondly, obviously how would I best do this with the recommended application. Thanks Anthony
