Outlook 2003

I have a user that is trying to send attachments and his outlook hangs every

time when he clicks on the "My Computer" icon on the left hand side of the open

file window.. He did have a lot of mapped network drives in which I

disconnected and it works fine.. All the mapped drives are local and gigabit

speed network.. I tried mapping them and disconnecting them one by one to see

if I could determine if it was a single mapping causing the issue.. And it's

not.. This problem is only happening in outlook all the other office apps

browse fine.. Also I have disabled antivirus to make sure that it wasn't

hanging up the browsing for network drives.. We have uninstalled and

reinstalled, reapplied sp2 and still have the problem.. I'm at a loss..

Hoping someone will have other suggestions for me..
