Because when disactivating the NetBIOS option on TCP/IP I do not obtain more to see the others desktops in the net?

My scene is:

8 Desktops with Windows XP SP2 all with NetBIOS on disactivated TCP/IP.

1 Broadband to router Speed Touch 510 with activated DNS and DHCP.
