June 7, 200719 yr Just wondering if anyone has found a proper (fully featured) driver for an HP DeskJet 5550c? The only advice HP has to offer is to use a generic printer driver, but that leaves me without the ability to control print quality and no way to print photos.As far as I can tell, HP has no interest in creating proper Vista drivers for my printer...is there any other way to get it fully functioning under Vista? Thanks for the help!
June 7, 200719 yr Author Like I said, that just takes me to a page directing me to use a generic driver that came with Vistahttp://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...896&dlc=en#The generic driver supports no advanced printing features, meaning I can’t print high-quality photos from Vista.
