Outlook 2002

Someone asked me this and it works fine but they said it also gave them notification as well.

Ok when doing a new email in Outlook (2002), Click on the Flag (Which is the follow up)

Set it for Follow up and Due by Today and then set the time to 2 mins ahead.

Send it to someone.

That other person gets your email and then at the Notify time will get a pop up for notification.

But the person sending the email said they use to get a notification also at the same time.

Is this TRUE, Is it a setting that is off?
