Unwanted formatting on Word

Hi,

I copied a document into Word and it seems to have introduced some HTML formatting that I can't get rid of. Any help greatly appreciated. I can't copy a sample because the formatting inconveniently disappears when I try to copy it on the post. thanks

Select the portion that you want to clear of formatting.

Then click on the Styles drop-down which is right before the Fonts drop-down.

Select "Normal" the one by itself. Do not choose any other type of Normal.

It will remove any formatting present, bold, italic, colors, special spacing, etc.
