Error Message Coping Files For Slipstream

Trying to slipstream sp1 into xp. When copying the original files from the xp cd to my hard drive the following error box appears:

Error Copying File or Folder

Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk

And I cant copy the I386 folder over, the others are OK.

I'v tried my cd another version and a copy mounted on daemon tools still no luck.

This is just a simple step im trying to perform here...whats going on.
