Hi all

Office 2007 language pack does not contain the admin option like in the original office 2007 disk.

I want to install the original office 2007 (english), and then installing the language pack, or integrating both (dont know how).

I tried copying the files from the language pack CD to the office 2007 CD and then starting the admin option but it didn't work.

I tried to copy the admin directory from the office CD to the language pack CD but it didn't work either.

I tried to edit the config.xml in the language pack CD but i couldn't get it to work.

Please help.

Thanks.

You can copy entire language pack CD to the HDD then copy Admin folder from Office 2007 to that MUI you copied from CD and run setup /admin.

It will find 'Microsoft Office Language Pack 2007 - language' but pressing OK raises 'Failed to get available product info'.

Also you can copy all your MUI folders into the Office 2007 installation (they will not overwrite anything due MUI folders have extension like .es-es or .ru-ru) and then run setup /admin.

Well...

I copied the files from the Language pack to the Office CD without overwriting existing directories and files, but when i start the /admin option, i get a window that lets me select between the office and the language pack. (BTW, the language pack has 3 options: office, project, visio).

I created the MST file with the support for the second language but when the CD starts i have to choose what i want to install.

I want to make it totaly silent.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
