Zxian Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 IIRC, when I posted a reply to a topic, I used to get redirected to my reply of the topic. This doesn't seem to happen anymore.Did xper change something?
Zxian Posted May 23, 2007 Author Posted May 23, 2007 I was referring to the fact that this reply will get me the following address in my address bar:http://www.msfn.org/board/Adding_reply_doe...ply_t98362.htmlwhile it used to give me something like the following:http://www.msfn.org/board/ergonomic_tips_t...mp;#entry655627EDIT - Hey... what's going on? When I click on the second link, the additional "info" is removed from the address, but I still get sent to my post.
xper Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Nothing to worry about. Some time ago we did SEO on forums. That's why you see differenturls.
Tomcat76 Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Confirming the original problem. Opera 9.21 / Win2K.
xper Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I will look into it asap.Update: Works properly with IE7. Cannot reproduce with Opera because i'm not using it.
Tomcat76 Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 (edited) I didn't have this problem with Opera 9.21 until a few days ago so it's definitely not a problem with Opera. Also, when I make a reply and go to the subforum in which that thread resides, that thread isn't displayed at the top and the name of the previous poster is still displayed in the "Last post by" column. I have to press F5 to get the page to update. This also never happened before. Edited June 23, 2007 by Tomcat76
xper Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 We are aware of this issue. It's Opera related. We work on fix.
Tomcat76 Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 OK. Thanks.Do you know any specifics? Are you updating the headers?
Zxian Posted June 23, 2007 Author Posted June 23, 2007 testEDIT Works here in Opera 9.20 now. Thanks for the fix xper.
Tomcat76 Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Yes; forgot to mention it. Seems to work now.I'm not sure, but it seems like you're doing a hack now. The post number is reflected in the "gopid" variable; is it this that fails in Opera?
