ahmedramzi Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 I have successfully made my First unattended XP CD thanks to the MSFN Forums..but there was a slight problem during the first startup after installation completes; a blue windows displays "welcome to Windows XP.. Let's spend a few minuites setting up your windows accounts..." and i have to write down my name. How can i get rid of this window so as my CD will be fully automated without any user interaction?
Aaron Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 Make sure you have the following set in winnt.sif:[unattended] UnattendSwitch="yes"
ahmedramzi Posted October 19, 2003 Author Posted October 19, 2003 Make sure you have the following set:[unattended]UnattendSwitch="yes" I've checked my winnt.sif file and found that the value was "no", thanks manbut What does that switch mean? does it has any other effect?
Aaron Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 It only affects the Welcome to Windows XP screen which you described
