tal ormanda Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 I have a problem. When I open up Windows Mail it seems to be slow. Example is when I click like to delete it, it will take a few seconds for the button to go down and perform the action. I don't really notice this in any other program.More details about my computer Component Details Subscore Base score Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00GHz 4.9 3.1 Determined by lowest subscore Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB 4.5 Graphics NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 3.6 Gaming graphics 399 MB Total available graphics memory 3.1 Primary hard disk 65GB Free (81GB Total) 5.0 Windows Vista (TM) Ultimate System -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Manufacturer Dell Inc. spacesurfer Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Windows Mail's startup is awfully slow as well. Not sure what your problem could be. Once it starts running, the speed is decent for me.Hang tight because MS is releasing a new program that will replace Windows Mail. It's going to incorporate features of OE, Windows Mail Desktop, and Windows Mail and there will be no ads.
spacesurfer Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Here's the new Windows Live Mail beta. It's supposed to replace OE in XP and Mail in Vista. No Ads in this one.Looks decent so far but it's beta.
