xpoisonfreex Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I used Nlite to slipstream the nforce4 Raid Drivers to the install disk, and did nothing else to the setup.hardware:ECS Nforce4m-a v3 latest biosAmD 64x2 4200+1GB DDR2 Patriot RAM2x Maxtor 500GB SATA2 300mb HDD in Raid1 (striped)Nvidia geoforce 7600GS by XFX2x Hauppage PVR-150 MCE OEM (no FM)Emprex DVD+-RNo custom options were selected etc.post installation no drivers have been installed etc.everything seems to have worked perfectly, except my system won't power down or reboot. when I issue either of those commands, windows starts to shut down, and I can physically hear the drives spin down and stop, but it just hangs on the "Windows is Shutting Down..." screen.any ideas? does Nlite remove the APM/ACPI setup (I noticed in Unattended options you can select the type of Cpu setup, but i didn't select the unnatend option) maybe i need to install some drivers? i dunno.
xpoisonfreex Posted May 10, 2007 Author Posted May 10, 2007 Alright issue resolved, I had been using the 2.53 Nforce4 drivers, so I downloaded the 2.86version, and it worked flawlessly.sorry if this is in the wrong forum! thanks.
