BalRocket61 Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I was having some problems with viewing some vieos, and I Downloaded the Uninstaller and uninstalled the Flash Player 9.028. Now I can't download the Flash Player back on? Every time I try I get a message box...."Network Error, check your internet connection and, Either, Try Again or Cancel. I,ve been reading Knowledge bases and Abode Troublshooting stuff for 3 days, and have yet to come accross anyone getting that message mentioned above. I,m a bit agitated. Never had this type problem before? Help...Please.
InOutEtc Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I had this same issue earlier today. So annoying.Do this: Go to http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html then download the .msi file they give you. Run that. It worked for me.If the page ever gets taken down, just google "install flash player" and look for another site. Hopefully there'll be one.(P.S.: I don't know what browser you're using, but for what it's worth I'm on IE 6.0.2900.)(P.P.S.: I didn't have any problems installing Flash on Firefox 1.0.7, which seems to have a better installation process and/or installer program.)(P.P.S.: Adobe's website suggests either downloading their executable installer (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19166) or using "SubInACL" from Microsoft to change the registry (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=fb1634cb). But guess what? Their installer gave me an error and a reference back to the original webpage. As for the "SubInACL" solution, I didn't want to mess with my registry, especially for a solution that might not work.)Best of luck,InOutEtc
