Problem with browser links opening in WMP by default

Whenever I left click on audio files in any browser (IE or FF or Opera) the file starts to play in Windows Media Player.

Before it used to give a pop-up "save as" dialogue box to select either to open it or save it (similar to the right click "save as" dialogue box). Now suddenly thats gone. What has gone wrong??
