LeucaBleu Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) I deleted a dictionary straight from the Proof folder instead of using "remove" followed by going to "add" and deleting it from the screen that pops up. Since I deleted it directly from the folder, Word is still under the impression that that dictionary still exists. Is there a way for Word to realize that I deleted it, or do I have to reload the entire program?I'm using Office 2003 Edited April 15, 2007 by LeucaBleu
LeucaBleu Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 Okay, I think I've figured it out by myself...I was tempted to delete this post, since I came up with a solution, but I changed my mind and decided to leave it for a reference point, in case someone else had the same problem in the future.~)~I created a new dictionary with the exact same name as the one I was trying to get rid of, then deleted it using the method I described above.Hopefully, it will continue to work...
