Plugin.exe missing on new install

Newbie here, first post. New to this slipstreaming thing, like if I can get it to work. I thought was gonna boot and then message comes up "plugin.exe" missing: so since I didn't know what file it needed, opted to dismiss, and continued to load and rebooted, saw the WIN XP screen. Then the famous simular BSOD like in Windows 98 except just a little different message stating-"Stop: c0000221 unknown hard error\systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll\ntfs.sys" specs. below.....

Well, made new disk so I could install recovery console but the error is not plugin.exe--- It is however plugin.ocx
