Blyiss Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Hello!So I am running Debian Etch. It is nicer than Windows in some way. But Linux doesn't have many commercial programs and that huge amount of various softwater that Windows offer. That's why I'd like to run VirtualBox from withing Debian because it is convenient. The problem is that Windows XP don't want to be activated since they don't recognize hardware. I'd like to know how to avoid this activation. Some people advise to call Microsoft and get a kind of a new product key or so. But why should I do this for a virtual box? Is there a way to change anything like through slipstreaming or similar?
