Celi Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 (edited) I was wondering if it could be possible to extract a specific driver from the vista install disc, or an installed vista OS. I have a certain sony monitor, that vista had a newer driver than I used to have which allows my monitor to have higher resolutions (I also checked sony's website and their drivers aren't as recent as the one vista had). I have no idea where to look, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'd appreciate any help I could get. Edited March 26, 2007 by Celi
niza Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I don't really know where the drivers are located on the cd but here's what you can do:Uninstall your current driver, restart your computer and Vista should automatically install the driver for you.
Celi Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 Actually I realized that it's not the vista cd that has those monitor drivers on it, it's the nvidia drivers. Somehow they have it on there, so I'm gonna find a way to get them off of there. Thanks for the help.
