otnateos Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Hi,I just got a problem with my Windows XP system starting from last night. I can't really remember what I did wrong but I did do some Windows Update and then everytime I open my old OpenOffice documents I got an error saying:Title: SMART UI 32-bits Gateway errorMessage: Can't load SMART Utilities library (code 126) The specified module could not be foundThe error message was actually fired three times.I completely have no idea what's wrong and how to fix it. I did google it and found some information that it is related to Windows Update (Hotfix/Security Update), some information related to SAMSUNG printer which by a chance I have that printer installed in my Computer, and something related to NLite (I don't use this software).Below is the thing that I did before I got the error:- I installed Cygwin- I installed Microsoft Platform SDK for Windows Server 2003 R2- I removed "clean it up" software (something sounds like that)- I removed NetLimiter- I removed Duplicate File Finder- I downloaded Windows XP Hotfix - KB885884- I downloaded Update for Windows XP (KB929338)- I downloaded Hotfix for Windows Media Format 11 SDK (KB929399)- I downloaded few other updates for Microsoft Office (KB929064, KB925251, Visio 2003 SP2, KB919029, KB920813, KB924424)- I probably downloaded other updates as well (those updates were installed last night, according to the date)I actually suspected there was something wrong when I couldn't install SQL Server 2005 Service Pack and Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack, everytime I download the file it always fail installing and this morning when I try to open my OpenOffice document I have to click three times before I could use the document.Any suggestion will be appreciated, thanks----------otnateos
