Multiple Inboxes

I recently implemented Exchange Server 2003 and when I added the new exchange account to the current Outlook setup, which was previously setup with a POP3 account, I now have 2 Inboxes. I want all the mail to be on the exchange inbox so that way I can see it in OWA, but it says "waiting to update folder" and it will not update. Also I cannot delete the old inbox which is where all the email still goes. I have moved the old folders to the exchange server but the inbox is the only one that wont update.
