Hi,

In Microsoft Word, if I go to Format-->Background and select e.g. Black then the whole page appears black. However when I print this there is a white boarder around all the edges.

How do I remove this so I can have a complete 'black' printout.

thanks

Cush

You can't! The white border is there because your printer can't print all the way to the edges. Depending on the printer's margin specification, there will always be a white border.

All you can do is set the margins to as small as possible so the white border is small as possible.

What you can do is set the margins to 0. When you do this, Word will says that is not valid and it can automatically adjust margins to the smallest possible number.
