Bad boy Warrior
Im tring to install Small Business Server Service Pack 1. Ive installed Windows Server SP1 without problems then KB891193. Came to installing SP1 for SBS it first gives me the error that i need SP3 for MSDE for compatibility i press ok and it continues with the installation. Few minutes later it comes back as failed and advises me to check C:\program files\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small Business Server 2003\Update\Log\setup.log to check for any errors - but no file exists at that location. SoDo i need to install SP3 (or even SP4) for MSDE in order for the installation to continue? Is there any way to find out why the installation failed?Ive checked the event viewer and just notes the installation began. Thanks
rion
Not sure if it's the same in SBS as in Win2k3, but you should have a svcpack.log located in %systemroot%.Check that one might give you a clue
