steve123 Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I integrated some SATA drivers and SCSI drivers using nlite onto a WinXP Pro SP2 CD and tested ok via the CD.Then I take this CD and use the Multi-DVD guide to boot it from DVD. The driver files that were integrated windows could not find and then I figured out that if I copied these files to the PRO1 directory it found them. Now, new problem is that windows complains it cannot find the EULA. I copied it to the PRO1 directory also but it still cannot find it. Any suggestions?
steve123 Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 (edited) Looks like I solved it. Using geitonaki's SFX file as explained by andregcasal to create the PRO1 boot folder works great. In fact this method copies the driver files you've integrated to the PRO1 folder automatically. What it didn't create was the PRO1.DAT file which I got from the old Guide by flyakite. Thanks andregcasal, and can you answer a question. You said:-Create a text file, inside PRO1, with NotePad, and rename it to winnt.sif. This will make winnt.sif create a tag file that identifies the OS being installed. In this case, the tag file will be XPPRO.TAG, but you can specify whatever you want:[GuiUnattended]DetachedProgram="%SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe /c @ECHO something>%SystemDrive%\XPPRO.TAG"Is the TAG only needed if you are going to use the RunOnce.cmd? Or what does this TAG do? Edited March 3, 2007 by steve123
