DUAL BOOT SYSTEM with WinNT and WinXP Pro

To all,

I am trying to create a dual-boot system, so I went and purchased a second hard drive for my PC, which is already running WinXP Pro on the main hard drive (Both of which are SATA drives). I am trying to install WinNT onto the second hard drive. The installation cd begins to load the drivers and adapters until it gets to the "CD-ROM File System", where the screen flashes and reboots. I have tried updating the drivers for the CD-ROM and hard drives, but none helped. I even disconnected the main hard drive while trying to install, but the same thing happened. Even if I wanted to reformat the whole PC and just do a single boot with WinNT, it obviously wont let me. Anybody have any ideas?
