mattpayne
First post, so hello! I work at a school and roll out applications using group policy... the kids are HEAVILY resticted users and as such have less than no rights to install software/drivers...the problem i come across is that a lot of new hardware is usb based, even with the software installed, if the drivers are unsignend, the hardware will start the add new hardware wizard, then ask for administrator credentials... this wouldnt be so much of an issue, but if the drivers are installed and the device is plugged into another usb slot, then the hardware wizard will start up again, with most new machines having a million USB ports, this is starting to get tiresome!! lol!!is there anyway of pacaking drivers to installed even if they are unsigned??? MadBoy
Well if you are using Group Policy that means you are having Active Directory, and that also means there is special option in add to turn on so the Driver Signing is ignored :> Have phun looking for it, but it should fix your issue!
