Explorer won't go to one particular website

I'm using a HP Pavilion dv6000 with 512 ram and Vista. Internet Explorer 7 which came on the machine, will not open cnn.com, although it quickly goes to other sites. I am using BitDefender as the antivirus and antispyare program. Can you suggest what the problem might be? I can open cnn.com on my other laptop, HP Pavilion zv6000 with XP and BitDefender, sitting next to the first machine which won't open cnn. Both machines are on a wireless network with a Netgear router using Roadrunner. Since one computer (using XP) can get to cnn and the other computer using Vista cannot, I'm inclined to think it has to do with a setting in Vista. Appreciate any help.
