Windows XP embedded

Does anyone knows the difference between this version of windows and a normal version of windows xp customised with program such Nlite o WAIK?

I know that with windows xp embedded you can customize the installation cd,but what you can do more with this version than you can do with Nlite or Windows automated installation kit?

Windows embedded is meant for embedded and special-purpose devices. It doesn't contain a lot of the features of XP, but can boot from a CD or network device. If you look at http://msdn.microsoft.com/embedded, you can read up on this.
