WMP11 in Vista - Horrible Icon.

Has anyone found a method of changing the Icons for the Media Player in Vista...

I've changed mine to what they look like in XP, but within the Media Player itself it still using that Horrible bluey orange icon.

the thing is icon for what...

program icon is displayed with wmplayer.exe

but other icons may be from other core files as wmploc.dll or ????.dll

use resource hacker program to change the icons of exe and dll

I changed the icons in the wmplayer.exe file the icons on the start menu and quick launch for media player has changed... But opening the media player the icon in the top left corner of the screen is the vista media player one.

i have already talked abt the file name..

Edit the ICON from the file wmploc.dll

X:\windows\system32\wmploc.dll (this file contains the ICON that you want to change)

i have changed my icon

have a look...
