What I want is for Narrator to read/speak only AFTER I tell it to and only what I tell it to , like after pressing a keyboard shortcut or something. Currently Narrtor speaks EVERYTHING. Even after pressing Ctrl key it still starts speaking(describing the window) after an alt-tab. I Have tried checking unchecking all all options but to no avail.Also is it possible to make it read "selected text" or "clipboard content"?and is there any alternative to narrator?
