Vista - slow explorer

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

hi,

every time i open an explorer in my Vista it's takin' a few seconds to list al the folders. even if there are only 2 folders, that green 'loading' line in the top is moving forever..... that's especially irritating when i open control panel, or a folder with a bunch of video files in it.

here is an example of my view every time i open my explorer:

what's going on here?? is there any way to speed up this with Vlite??

or is my graphic card too slow because lack of directx 9 support??

thanx in advance for any kind of advice.... :)
