Hi all,

I've been having issues trying to get SP2 to properly slipstream into a windows XP unattended install. I used nLite to create a barebones, nothing extra, unattended install, with just SP2 slipstreamed.

The problem:

Install goes just fine. However, when I try to load the drivers for my HP PSC1350 printer, it stalls out when it gets to the communicate over USB part. I noticed this install did not have the /windows/servicepackfiles folder, with the backups from the SP2 install, which makes sense since it's slipstreamed.

So, try as I may, I just couldn't get the HP printer to install, until I manually reinstalled SP2 (over the slipstreamed SP2). After that, the printer installed just fine, and I had the servicepackfiles folder like you would assume.

So.. in the meantime, I've had to do just a normal unattended install, then install SP2, install updates, etc, which almost defeats the purpose of an unattended install

I've tried re-downloading SP2, done the slipsteam manually, etc, just can't seem to make it work.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
