2KStangFire Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I posted this over in the Media Hub , but got little response and no answer. How about here ?I am trying to rip some Cd's onto my PC as MP3's using Windows Media Player 10. But it keeps giving me the error that I do not have a compatable MP3 Encoder. I thought WMP10 was suppossed to come with that. I tryed loading the WMP10 that came with my Music Essentials kit from Verizon, but it does the same thing. I am sure this is an easy problem for someone to help me with. My son just got a new laptop with WMP10 and it works great on his. Whats my problem ?Today I loaded WMP11 , and it does the same thing. Just gives me an error that there is no compatable MP3 Encoder. Help!!
2KStangFire Posted February 8, 2007 Author Posted February 8, 2007 Got it fixed. Thanks for all the responses. B) . It turns out it was real easy. I was trying to rip my Cds to MP3s at 128kbs. That gave me the error. I bumped it up to 192kbs, and it works great.
