charp8 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 About 12 months ago my company was experimenting with installing Office 2003 using an Administrative Installation Point. It was going well and then we started to use WSUS for updates. We found that we could not update a machine's office updates if Office was installed from an AIP. Well we went through and uninstalled them all (we thought) and went back to a scripted silent install of Office using a transform file instead of using an AIP. I recently found a computer here that has an AIP install of Office. The problem is that we have long since deleted the AIP from the server. How can I un-install Office from the workstation without an AIP so I can perform a Silent Scripted Install and provide the machine with a Local Installation Source so that it can be updated with WSUS?
