Second thanks for any help you can proviedI have started the process of created one ghost image for multiple machines. All Dell place.I have the d620 laptop and all driver show up in device manager as installed but the display settings are at the lowest setting 620x480 and 8 bit. I can set this to the correct settings but after reboot system tray says found new hardware and reboot is required then the system prompts to reboot. After reboot settingsgo back to the 620x480 setting even after change to 1440x900 before the reboot.I update hal after image is deployed and also have all drivers in the devicepath registry.Updatedinstalleddrives=yes in sysprep file too.Device manager show no exclamation points and all drivers detectedvideo driver show intel® Mobile 945GMPlease Help. I am getting frustrated.THANKS for any help you can provide.
jbrohmer Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 Well, I guess the -pnp switch solved the problem. Not sure why though because I have updateinstalleddrivers=yes in the sysprep file. And it is new pc and should be all pnp.
