Vista Error Report?

I'm trying to install home premium on a machine that *should* be fully compatible. I've run the upgrade adviser and it has given me the thumbs up. However, when I run the install everything goes smoothly until it hits the "Completing Installation" Phase. The computer restart, and then says it is undoing all changes. I am then returned to XP where I am told my PC isn't compatable. Has anyone run into a problem like this or does anyone know if Vista generates a report somewhere so I can figure out which device I am having trouble with?
