Frog Diapers Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 (edited) I thought this would be simple, but I would like to force any new windows opened up in IE7 (such as picture and radio tuner pop-ups) to show the toolbar, address bar, navigation buttons, etc., just as if I'd opened up the window myself. I used to have a "tweak" program that had this as one of the options (and it worked), but I can't find the program. I'm sure it has to be a simple registry hack, but I can't find ANY info on KEEPING the toolbars...only getting rid of them!Thank you for ANY suggestions!Richard. Frog Diapers Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 This should be a simple solution... WHY WON'T ANYONE HELP?
Zxian Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Are you talking about the menu bar? (File, edit, etc etc) You can have that stay by going to Tools->Menu Bar. It'll make it "stick" and not disappear all the time.
Frog Diapers Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 No, I'm referring to when a new pop-up type window opens from IE, such as a radio tuner window, a picture viewer window, or something like that. The new window opens automatically, but there are no buttons, toolbar menus, or anything other than an address listing and the "X" close button in the upper right. Most people probably like this because it is compact and clean looking, but it bugs me and it also bugs me because I used to have it working the way I want it to, but can't get it to happen now! I'll try adding screenshots, Bad and Good:BadView.bmpGoodView.bmp
