DSL on XP stops working after resuming hibernate

I have broadband popoe connection setup on windows xp, but every time i hibernate the computer and resume from hibernation, when i re-establish connection, the network is dead. it connects as normal, but no program that uses internet function properly, as if wasn't working at all.. when i reboot windows totally it is again to normal. is there a hotfix for this?

First: Do you disconnect the DSL connexion before hibernate ? If no, check your routes (with "route print" from dos), after being reconnected. The old route might be still here.

If yes, try disabling and disabling after a few seconds the network interface.

Second: Most of the time, when going to hibernate, programs won't be able to access network again if you at least don't reload them. Also networking and hibernating doesn't work well usually.
