Alright guys i have genuine windows which like us all i hate to have to call Microsoft to reactivate when i perform a fresh install of windows. But on my last install after i activated windows i copied the following registry keys...

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents]

"OOBETimer"

"LastWPAEventLogged"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]

"CurrentBuild"

"InstallDate"

"ProductId"

"DigitalProductId"

"LicenseInfo"

I then imported them into a fresh install that was not activated and as soon as the keys where imported my windows was activated... it was awesome. Its seems to me a too good to be true fluke..

thoughts people? someone else try this?

The only key you need to import is...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents]
"OOBETimer"

The others make no difference.
