WinPE 2.0 with Win2K Pro SP4

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a machine with Win2K Pro SP4 and I have installed WinPE 2.0 on the harddisk.

If Win2K Pro SP4 is installed on a FAT32 partition then, WinPE2.0 boot always gives me an error as following.

File: \WIndows\System32\Boot\Winload.exe "is missing." and doesn't boot in Win PE 2.0.

But if Win2K Pro SP4 is installed on NTFS partition then I am able to boot in WinPE 2.0 from harddisk.

Also after booting in WinPE 2.0, I am not able to see any other partition (NTFS, FAT32 & FAT) except X:\.

Please let me know if this is known issue with WinPE 2.0 or not. If not then how can I fix it?

Thanks,

Umesh
