Dialer won't come up automatically

I use allvantage dialup, Winxp. Firefox is my default browser. For some reason, all of a sudden, when I bring up Firefox, the dialer won't come up. It's been working fine. I have computers with ME and 98, and have never encountered this problem. I have looked all through Firefox, which shows allvantage under Connection, and looked through the dialer, to see if there was something that had changed. Can't find anything.

I'm sure this has a simple solution, but just never had to do anything to get the dialer to come up automatically.

Dialer works fine when I click on it in Start.
