cmm0325 Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Hi, I have a whole bunch of cryptic alphanumeric folders I assume created from applying Hotfixes. They're on a different partition than where the OS is installed. How can I delete them? Thanks.
Aaron Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Was one of the switches used included an "/n"? You may need to use this switch to prevent backup folders from being created.
cmm0325 Posted September 20, 2003 Author Posted September 20, 2003 Thanks Aaron. No I didn't use the /n switch. Next time I run the unattend install I'll remember to use the switch. Is there a way to delete these folders? XP is being stubborn about it.
Aaron Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Try Safe Mode. Failing that, use Safe Mode Command Prompt and it should definitely be removable.
