How do you make a Microsoft Word template repeat onto following pages

I just made a very simple template for a project and I need it to carry over on every page but when I go on to a new page it just is blank and the template is not there. Im lost and confused about why its doing this and its unfortionate that it is probably somthing so simple. Anyways help would be great. :/
