DXK Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 (edited) Hello guys,I don't get my RIS image for the new HP DC5700 SFF working. In the past we used DC 5100 SFF's and that allways worked without any problem, now we've made a new standard image and runned riprep on the machine. The image is on the server and we copied the NIC driver to the OEM folder and modified the .SIF file. But I don't get it working, I get the following error:The operating system image you selected does not contain the necessary drivers for your network adapter. Try selecting a different operating system image. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.I've tried a few drivers the one from the HP website and from the Broadcom website but both don't work :SThe NIC is a: Broadcom NetExtreme Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Anybody got ideas what I can try or had the same problems? Thanks in advance.Greetings,DXKEDIT: I also did everything that stands in this posthttp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=87774 Edited December 11, 2006 by DXK

cluberti Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Make sure you're also adding them to both the riprep image and the flat file image it was built from, otherwise it may not work.
DXK Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 Bilou_Gateux your driver also doesn't seem to work, this is so strange. I'm gonna make a new image and do it all over again :S
DXK Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Only the newest Broadcom drivers work on this machine. When I modify the drivers (method of Broadcom) I still get the same error as before... :SAnybody got some suggestions?
DXK Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 Fixed, copied the original Broadcom drivers to the flatimage now it worked
