straytoasters
I just dont like that the title bar doesent highlight (or at least so little highlight) and I hate the min/max/exit Vista buttons. I feel Office 2007 should follow the same theme as ever other program...is there a regedit or something I can do?Straytoasters
jchowland
As far as I know, no- WMP has been doing this for years. and BTW, MS is trying to push this 'Ribbon' and theming to other programs by distributing it for free to programmers, so get used to it! straytoasters
Yeah, they are giving it away free to developers...and yet they did not incorporate it into the whole Office Suite...go figure. I read a post by one of the ribbon UI developers and they said something to the effect of "even though some people are adverse to the ribbon, we are not going to provide a "classic" interface...we just feel we need to drag them along". They actually said they want to "drag" users along, as in kicking and screaming. This is not a Mac slam, but one of the reasons I (for the most part) avoid Macs is the lack of customizability. Now it seems MS is going the same way...taking choice away from users. Thats just sad.Straytoasters
