connecting to Workgroup Information file (.mdw)

I've been searching all over for this and haven't found anything. We have some older access databases that uses a .mdw file. Usually in the old access i can just point to the mdw file under security and settings and manage the file from there. But in Access 2007, I have no clue where this function is and have spent the last day trying to figure something that should have taken me 2 minutes to get working.

Anyone know how to do this?
