interkool Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 I'm in the process of creating an multiple hal image. I'm having problems on top of problem though. First, I have successfully included all the new drivers for the recent addition to our models. However, after sysprep finishes and it gets into windows, I have 1 device with the yellow exclamation point. Upon opening the properties, its says that there wasn't enough resources available. I tried different things like putting the path closer towards the front of the OemPnPDriversPath. Please help.
cluberti Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 If you install a clean version of the OS off of the install media (not the image) and install the drivers on that, do you get the same behavior?
interkool Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 no there are no issues when I did an unattended then manually installed the drivers.
cluberti Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Hm - when you created your primary image, did you do it on real hardware, or in a VM? Also, if you did it on real hardware, did you install any drivers before imaging the box? You can probably see where I'm going here, but I gotta ask...
interkool Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 I created the unattended on the master system (desktop) and then added the drivers and the OemPNPpath. All the drivers come down find but its just that one device...some security module. I'll let you know when I get to work.
