Hi everyone! This is my first post on MSFN Forums, so it wont be anything too fancy :).

Anyway, I'm relatively new to Group Policy, and I need to know if its possible to prevent other students from mapping network drives (the few that know how to :D) via a GPO.

As I previously mentioned, I'm pretty new to GP so if possible, try to keep it simple :).

Thanks,

Chris

P.S: I don't want any third-party software solutions.

Create or edit an existing GPO - User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Component - Windows Explorer - then Remove Map network drive and disconnect network drive, set this to enable.
